Namibia's mountain warrior
Hartmann's Mountain Zebra is one of Namibia's most distinctive animals and a near-endemic species of the country's rugged western mountains.
A mature zebra stands approximately 4–4½ feet at the shoulder and can weigh around 600–750 lbs. Their striped legs, white belly and pronounced dewlap distinguish them from plains zebra.
Hunting the Mountain Zebra
This is not an easy walk in the park. Mountain zebra hunting can involve steep climbs, difficult footing and long shots from challenging angles.
The reward is a beautifully marked trophy—and the memory of hunting one of Namibia's spectacular mountain landscapes.
