The giant of Africa
The African Elephant is the largest land animal on Earth. Mature bulls can weigh well over 10,000 lbs and stand approximately 10–13 feet at the shoulder, with old bulls sometimes carrying enormous tusks.
Beyond their size, elephants are remarkable for their intelligence, social behaviour and extraordinary ability to adapt to harsh environments.
Hunting the Elephant
A mature bull elephant hunt is about much more than finding a large animal. Reading tracks, understanding behaviour and identifying an old bull are all essential parts of the experience.
Few hunting experiences compare with following the tracks of a great bull through the African wilderness.
